Project Purpose: PRIDE is the oldest police co-operative in Canada providing operational focused services. PRIDE is a system of information, expertise and resource sharing between its member police services with common shared technology systems and infrastructure. PRIDE (Police Regionalized Information Data Entry) was established in November of 1980 as a joint venture between Brantford Police Service, Guelph Police Service, Stratford Police Service, Waterloo Regional Police Service, and Fergus (before OPP took over policing Fergus in 1999). South Simcoe Police joined PRIDE in 2015. The proponents are to consider that PRIDE may add or change members in the future as the requirements for NG9-1-1 change and evolve. This may include other police organizations, and/or include fire departments where common building are shared between police and fire services. Instruction to Bidder: As a manufacturer of communications and information technology services, this RFP is an invitation to submit a solution with your firm and their designated representative in the response package. Manufacturers cannot submit similar solutions from multiple vendor representatives. If there are multiple vendor elements required to complete your proposed solution, authorization and supporting response material will be required for each separate element. Each manufacturer must select the appropriate dealer or channel to represent their proposed solution and future support and maintenance requirements. Confidential/Legal Considerations: By downloading the bid documents, the potential bidder warrants that the information contained in its bid submission does not infringe any patents, intellectual property rights, copyright, trademarks, technology rights of any third party and agrees to defend the WRPS at the Bidder’s own expense, in all suits, actions or proceedings in which the WRPS is made a Defendant for actual or alleged infringement of any Canadian or foreign letters patent, intellectual property rights, copyright, trademarks, technology rights or any other related rights to the above resulting from the WRPS contractual relationship with the Successful Bidder and the Bidder’s use of any or all technologies, methodologies, and strategies in providing the services required herein. The Bidder agrees that they will respect the confidential and property rights of WRPS and FOX GROUP, and will not distribute or share the contents of the RFP document(s) or any other supporting information that makes up part of their bid. |
